How do I install Skiv?

Download the build for your platform from the download page, or install it with a package manager. The installation guide walks through each option.

Where are my settings stored?

Settings live in skiv.config.json. Global settings apply everywhere, and a project-level file overrides them for a single workspace.

Do I need an account to use Skiv?

No. The editor is fully usable without an account. An account is only needed for cloud sync and hosted AI on the Pro plan.

How do I connect my own AI provider?

Add a provider and paste your key in settings. Requests then go directly from your device to that provider. See the AI Providers guide for details.
